Architectural Design

To suit Kiwi
lifestyles.

The goal is to create a house that not only functions well and meets the needs of its occupants, but also harmonises with its surrounds.

Coastal

Coastal homes are typically designed to take advantage of their proximity to the beach and the surrounding natural environment. They often feature large windows and open floor plans that allow for plenty of natural light and stunning views of the ocean or nearby landscapes. Outdoor living spaces such as decks, patios, or balconies provide additional space for relaxing and entertaining. Coastal homes are designed to withstand very high wind and sea spray.

Urban

Our design of urban homes have modern elements like clean lines, open floor plans, and sustainable features. Where space is at a premium they often feature compact designs that make efficient use of the land available. Urban homes can be multi-story buildings with small yards or outdoor spaces with features like rooftop decks or balconies to maximize usable space and meet the needs and preferences of contemporary urban home owners.

Contemporary

Contemporary house design is characterised by clean lines, minimalist aesthetic, and use of modern building materials. It often features an open floor plan that maximizes natural light and creates a sense of spaciousness. Contemporary homes often incorporate sustainable and energy-efficient features. The overall design aims to create a sense of harmony between the structure and its surroundings, with a focus on simplicity, functionality, and innovation.

Traditional

Overall, the goal is to create a modern home that feels warm and inviting, while reducing the need for ongoing maintenance. This type of house typically features high-quality materials and construction techniques that are designed to last, as well as design features that reduce the time and money homeowners need to spend on repairs and maintenance tasks allowing more time to enjoy the benefits of comfortable and stylish living spaces.

Country

When designing a modern country-style home we may have an open floor plan that is well-suited for entertaining, with a large kitchen and dining area that flows into a spacious living room. Other design elements may include high ceilings, exposed beams, and rustic touches like barn-style doors or shiplap paneling. The home may also feature a gabled or pitched roof, and large windows to allow plenty of natural light and to take advantage of country views.

High Density

Designing homes for high density developments involves creating residential properties that are well-suited for inclusion in mixed-use developments alongside commercial and retail spaces. These homes may be designed to appeal to a wide range of buyers, from young professionals to families with children, and incorporate features like open floor plans, natural light, modern amenities, and energy-efficient design elements.
